Connecting people to new life in Christ through belonging, support and hope

Youth Ministries

Our young people come to the Sunday worship service at 9.30 a.m. After about 20 minutes, our middle school youth have the option of leaving to go to their own age-appropriate Sunday School class, while the high school youth remain in the worship service.

We encourage our teenagers to participate fully in the life of the church. Confirmation classes are offered periodically for those who are ready to make a public profession of faith and to officially join the church.

Our youth meet regularly for fun, fellowship and mission at Brentwood Community United Methodist Church on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 6 to 10 p.m. There’s also get together at other times for events such as the 24-Hour Famine and field trips to serve meals at Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco.  This year and last year our youth have also participated in a Sierra Service Project ‘Weekend of Service’ and they have plans do more in the future.
